Sansevieria, commonly known as the Snake Plant or Mother-in-Law’s Tongue, is a tough, low-maintenance plant with upright, sword-shaped leaves often edged in yellow or variegated with green patterns. It thrives in bright to low indirect light, making it very adaptable. Water sparingly—allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings, typically every 2 to 4 weeks—as it’s drought-tolerant and prone to root rot if overwatered. Indoors, it typically grows up to 3 feet tall, making it perfect for floors or tabletops.
