Monstera Deliciosa, commonly called the Swiss Cheese Plant for its iconic split and hole-punched leaves, is a popular tropical houseplant. It prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate moderate shade. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch its leaves. Water when the top 1 to 2 inches of soil feel dry, usually once a week, allowing the soil to drain well. It enjoys higher humidity and warm temperatures. Indoors, it can grow quite large—up to 8 feet tall and wide—making it a stunning focal point.
