The Areca Palm is a graceful, feathery-leaved plant that brings a tropical feel indoors. It prefers bright, indirect light, but can tolerate some lower light conditions. Water when the top 1 to 2 inches of soil are dry—usually once a week—and ensure good drainage to prevent root rot. This palm can grow up to 6 to 8 feet tall indoors with time and proper care.
